SBIR Technology Acceleration Project (TAP) Selects ENIG for Six-Week Commercialization Pilot EffortENIG, one of approximately twenty firms with recent Air Force SBIR and STTR awards, has been selected by SBIR TAP to participate in a six-week program designed to showcase a recent AFRL SBIR or STTR award.

“We’re excited to participate in this pilot program and take advantage of the program leadership’s commercialization experience”, noted Eric N. Enig, President of ENIG.

According to program materials, SBIR TAP assembles companies that have received Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) awards from the federal government and identifies promising SBIR Technology that has not been brought to market or has not been developed for the commercial market.

Companies receive training and participate in demonstrations to learn how to conduct market assessments and develop commercialization plans. The goal of these projects are to assist SBIR companies move their technology from a research phase to marketable solutions for business or consumer demand.
